Matt & Kristy Anderson. What a beautiful couple! I knew these two growing up as a kid. Our interactions involved flying foxes, ocean views, archery, quad bikes, and hammocks…all wonderful childhood memories we experienced at a camp we went to in Raglan.

Matt and Kristy’s families used to go holidaying together as well and over time they went their separate ways, keeping in touch now and then. Fast forward a few years, and it wasn’t until recently that they crossed paths again and some of their mentors “encouraged” their getting together. Now look where we are! This is the result of such “encouragement” – I LOVE community!

These images were taken by me (Abi) and a good buddy Nate Ramsey. I have to say I have quite a few favourites from this shoot, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I had taking them.

The wedding was at St Leonards Chapel and the afternoon reception was held at The Wilson Home Trust. Married June 2016.

Wedding: Hamish & Jessie Riley – Saturday 26th February 2016

I absolutely loved shooting this wedding! I grew up with Jessie during my teenage years and created many memories with her growing up, we were even in a pop rock band together. Where does the time go!?

Leading up to this wedding I was having the busiest week of the year and had to call in my mate Nate Ramsey to help out with pre-planning and being my second on the day. It was so much fun working with this guy (check out his work)! Hamish and Jessie had so much patience with us, they did well to tolerate two creatives bouncing ideas around them and squawking every other moment with excitement when something worked wonderfully!

The ceremony was held at Greyfriars Church in Epsom & the Reception was held at Gracehill – recommend both these places!
